Clinical expertise with an academic and research focus.
My work spans diagnostic microbiology laboratories, infection-prevention programmes, antimicrobial stewardship, molecular testing and quality systems aligned with NABL ISO 15189 and NABH standards.
I teach and mentor undergraduate, postgraduate, nursing and allied-health students while contributing to research in tuberculosis diagnostics, antimicrobial resistance, hospital-acquired infections, biofilm biology, fungal infections, microbial genomics and metagenomics.
